The Softopper Ford Ranger bed cap is constructed from premium 2-Ply laminated PVC-coated sailcloth, which can withstand any weather conditions and protect your belongings. It is waterproof because of the non-adhesive weather stripping that is included, and it has UV stabilization to fend off rot and mildew and keep the fabric from deteriorating.

It has roll-up side panels and/or a rear window for simple access, as well as a strong back window made of clear vinyl. The Softopper Ranger bed cap’s structure, which can be folded in just a few seconds, is composed of strong, resilient anti-rust anodized aluminum. The truck cover weighs only 18 to 30 lbs., is extremely portable, and can be operated by one person.

The installation of this Softopper truck canopy DOES NOT NEED ANY DRILLING OR MODIFICATIONS, which is a terrific feature. NOTE: Some trucks are offered with rails running along the inside of the bed, which give you multiple points to attach to when securing cargo.  We refer to these rails as utility tracks.  If a Softopper is made for a bed with utility tracks, we list the Attachment Type as “Utility Tracks“.  If a Softopper model is designed to attach to a bed that does not have utility tracks, we say the attachment type is “Regular Clamps” or “Standard Clamps“.
